Based on the Core Practices from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), our journal adheres to the following ethical standards:
- Allegations of Misconduct: We handle all allegations of misconduct seriously and have a clearly described process for such allegations.
- Authorship and Contributorship: Clear policies are in place regarding authorship requirements and contributorship transparency.
- Complaints and Appeals: We maintain a process for handling complaints against the journal, its staff, or publisher.
- Conflicts of Interest / Competing Interests: We define and manage conflicts of interest for all parties involved.
- Data and Reproducibility: Policies on data availability and the encouragement of reporting guidelines are integral to our practice.
- Ethical Oversight: Our policies encompass ethical oversight on consent to publication and research ethics.
- Intellectual Property: We clearly describe all intellectual property policies, including copyright and licensing, with transparent costs associated with publishing.
- Journal Management: Our infrastructure supports the efficient and ethical running of the journal.
- Peer Review Processes: Transparently described peer review processes are well managed, with training provided for editors and reviewers.
- Post-publication Discussions and Corrections: We allow and manage post-publication debate and corrections diligently.
- Plagiarism and Retraction: Papers submitted to Jurnal Riset Kimia must be original and not pending publication elsewhere.
- Open Access Policy: Jurnal Riset Kimia embraces Open Access, allowing free and immediate access to its content, which users can read, download, distribute, and use to further their research.
- Archiving Policy: The journal is preserved at Portico.
