Reporting Allegations

Anyone who identifies a potential breach of research or publication integrity may contact the Editor-in-Chief and provide the article citation or manuscript identification, a clear description of the concern, and supporting evidence where available.

Reports may be submitted through the contact information provided on the JRK Contact Page .

Initial Assessment and Investigation

The journal will acknowledge the report, conduct an initial assessment, and determine whether further inquiry is warranted. If an inquiry is opened, the relevant author(s) will be informed of the concern and invited to respond.

JRK may seek independent advice or contact the relevant institution when appropriate. The journal will keep the matter confidential to the extent possible, maintain a record of its handling, and inform the reporting person of the outcome when it is appropriate to do so.

Possible Editorial Actions

Depending on the findings and the status of the manuscript or article, a substantiated concern may lead to manuscript rejection, publication of a correction, retraction, an expression of concern, or referral to the relevant institution. Editorial actions will be proportionate to the available evidence and guided by applicable publication ethics principles.
