Repository deposit, article versions, and self-archiving rights

Policy Overview

Jurnal Riset Kimia (JRK) supports the dissemination and long-term accessibility of published scholarly work through institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal websites, and other appropriate platforms. Authors are permitted to share the published version of their articles in accordance with the applicable Creative Commons licence.

Permitted Article Version

Published Version Version of Record (VoR)

Authors may deposit the published version of their article, also known as the Version of Record (VoR). This is the final version officially published by JRK, including the journal's editorial and production formatting, bibliographic information, and applicable copyright and licence notices.

Deposit Timing and Embargo

Immediate self-archiving permitted — No embargo

Authors may deposit the published version of their article immediately upon publication, without an embargo or additional waiting period. No separate permission from JRK is required for deposits that comply with the applicable Creative Commons licence.

Permitted Deposit Locations

Authors may make the published version available through:

  • Institutional repositories maintained by universities or research institutions.
  • Subject-specific or disciplinary repositories.
  • Personal or institutional websites.
  • Other repositories or scholarly dissemination platforms that comply with the applicable licence.

Citation and Licence Requirements

The deposited record should include the following information:

  • Full bibliographic citation of the published article.
  • Digital Object Identifier (DOI), when available.
  • A link to the Version of Record on the JRK website.
  • The applicable Creative Commons licence notice and link.
  • The original copyright holder and publication year.

Authors are responsible for retaining the article's citation, copyright, and licence information when sharing or adapting the work.

All articles published by Jurnal Riset Kimia are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0). This licence permits anyone to share and adapt the material for any purpose, including commercial use, provided appropriate credit is given, a link to the licence is supplied, and changes are indicated. The licence does not imply endorsement by the authors or JRK.

Additional Conditions
