Corrections, Retractions, and Expressions of Concern

Jurnal Riset Kimia (JRK) is committed to maintaining the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of the scholarly record. The journal may issue corrections, amendments, retractions, or expressions of concern when issues are identified after publication.

Corrections and Amendments

When an error or omission is identified after publication and the reliability of the article remains substantially intact, the journal may publish an appropriate correction or other amendment linked to the original article.

Retractions

Retraction may be considered when published findings are no longer reliable because of major error or misconduct, plagiarism, redundant publication, unethical research, or other circumstances that substantially undermine the integrity of the article.

Expressions of Concern

An expression of concern may be issued when serious questions have been raised about a published article but the available evidence is not yet sufficient to support a definitive editorial action.

Editorial Principles

Corrections, amendments, retractions, expressions of concern, and related notices are handled with reference to relevant Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidance. These actions are intended to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record rather than to punish authors.
