Publication Ethics Responsibilities

Maintaining publication integrity is a shared responsibility.

Authors are responsible for the integrity, originality, accuracy, authorship, ethical conduct, disclosures, and appropriate documentation of their work.

Reviewers are responsible for providing objective and constructive assessments, maintaining confidentiality, identifying relevant conflicts of interest, and reporting serious ethical concerns encountered during review.

Editors are responsible for fair and independent editorial decision-making, appropriate management of peer review, protection of confidentiality, management of conflicts of interest, and proportionate responses to concerns about research or publication integrity.

The journal will consider suspected breaches of publication ethics in accordance with its policies and, where appropriate, with reference to relevant COPE guidance.
