Jurnal Riset Kimia is committed to maintaining transparency regarding all fees associated with manuscript submission and publication.

PUBLICATION FEES IMPLEMENTATION

Effective from the March 2027 Issue

The submission and publication fee policy described on this page will be implemented beginning with the March 2027 issue of Jurnal Riset Kimia. The policy applies to manuscripts submitted on or after 20 October 2026 for consideration in the March 2027 issue and subsequent issues.

Submission Fee

For manuscripts submitted on or after 20 October 2026, a submission fee of IDR 250,000 is charged for each manuscript. This fee covers the initial administrative and editorial processing of the manuscript and is payable during the submission process.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

Manuscripts submitted under this fee policy and subsequently accepted for publication are subject to a total Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 1,500,000, as specified in the journal's Author Fees Policy. The outstanding APC balance is payable only after the manuscript has successfully completed the peer-review and editorial evaluation process and has been formally accepted for publication.

Submission Fee Deduction from APC

For manuscripts submitted under this fee policy that are accepted for publication, the IDR 250,000 submission fee already paid by the author will be credited toward the total APC of IDR 1,500,000. Therefore, the author will only be required to pay the remaining APC balance of IDR 1,250,000 following formal acceptance.

The submission fee is included in, rather than added to, the total publication cost for accepted manuscripts. Accordingly, the total amount payable by an author whose manuscript is accepted is IDR 1,500,000.

Editorial Independence and Publication Decisions

Payment of the submission fee or APC does not guarantee manuscript acceptance or publication. All submitted manuscripts undergo editorial screening and peer review in accordance with the journal's established editorial policies and academic quality standards.

Publication fees do not influence reviewer selection, peer-review recommendations, editorial assessments, or final decisions regarding manuscript acceptance or rejection.
